SABRINA

Sabrina is single, diabetic, Rh negative, and 12 weeks pregnant. She is the mother of a 15 month old son who was born with multiple birth defects-an underdeveloped arm with no thumb, a missing kidney, neck deformities requiring surgery, and others. Sabrina cannot work because her son requires so much of her attention. Sabrina's only income is her son's disability check and her son's father refuses to help them financially. Sabrina is afraid to have another child with such a debilitating deformity and her doctor has recommended against it due to the possibility of recurring birth defects.
